The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Thursday that all seats have been sold for the October 23 T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan
According to the ICC, even extra standing room tickets were "snapped up within minutes of going on sale."
Over 500,000 tickets have reportedly been sold for the forthcoming major event in Australia, which begins next month
Their first Super 12s match will feature a match between Pakistan and India.
"With over 500,000 fans already reserving their places to the tournament that starts in one month
the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 is geared to welcome fans of all ages and backgrounds,"
For the first time since the Women's T20 World Cup in 2020, which reached its peak with 86,174 spectators for the final at the MCG
