Former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry dies in accident
According to a senior police officer, Cyrus Mistry, the former chairman of Tata Sons, was killed in a car crash on Sunday in the Palghar region of Maharashtra, which is close to Mumbai. His car collided with a divider.
He was 54.
Cyrus Mistry's death at such a young age is "very terrible," says N Chandrasekaran, chairman of Tata Sons.
The late Mistry's loss was also mourned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
