Cyrus Mistry was killed, according to the police

 the driver lost control while attempting to pass another vehicle from the left side.

The doctor who treated Cyrus Mistry stated that he had a head injury and had been pronounced dead.

A preliminary police investigation revealed

 Cyrus Mistry was driving a luxury car that was overspeed
