Hollywood's golden age was on full show Thursday as the Blonde ensemble walked the red
carpet before the movie's debut in the Palazzo del Cinema at the 79th Venice Film Festival,
with lead Ana de Armas looking stunning in a pink full-length gown.
While filming their biopic "Blonde," Andrew Dominik and Ana De Armas reported feeling
Adrien Brody, who plays Marilyn Monroe's husband Arthur Miller, Bobby Cannavale, who
plays her spouse Joe DiMaggio, and Julianne Nicholson, who plays her mother, were among
Brad Pitt, whose Plan B Entertainment produced the movie, and the film's director Andrew
The movie, which is based on a book by Joyce Carol Oates, takes a dramatised look at the
life of Marilyn Monroe while examining the contrast between her public and private lives.
