Taylor Swift’s crew is putting the record straight after facing criticism online for how many trips she’s conducted in her private plane this year. Here is their statement.

Taylor Swift is dissuading people from making negative comments about how you fly when soarin’ through the air.
The 32-year-old “All Too Well” singer recently faced backlash online after a research by sustainable marketing firm Yard found that her private jet travels alone released 8,293.54 metric tonnes of carbon over the course of the previous seven months. That is “1,184.8 times more than the average person’s total annual emissions,” according to the report.
That doesn’t imply, though, that Taylor went along for the journey. According to a statement given to E! News by a representative for the pop artist, “Taylor’s plane is often lent out to other people.” It is plainly inaccurate to credit the majority or all of these travels to her.
