Khamzat Chimaev doesn’t seem to be sorry for his part in the brawl that resulted in the cancellation of the UFC 279 press conference.
UFC president Dana White disclosed some “wild sh*t” occurred backstage just a few seconds before the top six fighters on Saturday’s programme were scheduled to take the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Before White stated the rest of the press conference was cancelled due to more backstage commotion, Kevin Holland and Daniel Rodriguez conducted a quick Q&A with reporters after revealing the three matchups will be revealed separately.

In a press conference, White said that an altercation between Chimaev (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Holland was the catalyst for the fight (23-7 MMA, 9-4 UFC). According to later reports, there were punches and kicks exchanged before Nate Diaz and other people joined in.
