Despite enjoying a trip to Burning Man last month, Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber carried on as usual on Tuesday.
The beautiful mother and daughter were seen going about their daily business before meeting at a Malibu dentist appointment.
Kaia, 21, looked effortlessly elegant in a pair of black pants and a cropped jacket paired with a loose blue top, while supermodel Cindy, 56, looked chic in a pair of black jeans and a shirt.
With her dark hair falling over her shoulders and down, Cindy looked chic in a white blouse.
She completed her look with a handbag made of black leather and a pair of sunglasses.
In a white vest with a blue open shirt on top, Kaia showed off her washboard abs.
For the two, who partied together at Burning Man festival last month as part of Kaia’s 21st birthday celebrations, it was undoubtedly a pretty leisurely and low-key day.
Under a photo of the two in the desert, Kaia wrote on Instagram, “Got to spend my 21st with my mom (sic) in a very beautiful spot.”
Cindy posted photos from the historic event to Instagram on Sunday.
The makeup-free beauty looked festival chic with a khaki scarf around her neck, a black swimming suit top, and untidy wind-blown hair while giant polarised goggles protected her eyes from the sun and dust.
Burning Man, an annual festival that celebrates self-expression, independence, art, music, and community, was founded on the principle that anything goes and is renowned for inspiring attendees to develop a more profound sense of self.
The festival, according to Cindy, allowed her to “reconnect to her maiden self.”
I still find it hard to imagine I visited Burning Man around this time last week. When @kaiagerber and I received a last-minute invitation from pals, we exchanged looks and exclaimed, “Why not?” Cindy read her post.
We were extremely lucky to travel with seasoned “burners” who took us under their wing and taught us the ropes. Everything I had hoped for and even more was there.
She said, “The playa’s bizarre harshness and inspiring beauty allowed me to reconnect.”
