After a second-year BBA (Hons) student from OP Jindal Global University was discovered dead on a road that was still under construction on Sunday night, Sonepat police opened an inquest.
The student was recognised by police as Sanskaar Chaturvedi, 19, of Vadodara, Gujarat. They claimed that his sister is a university professor.
The student had been to Delhi to see his sister, according to Vipin Kadian, the deputy superintendent of police in Sonepat’s Rai village. On Sunday, his body was discovered in front of the college. We have started the inquest process in accordance with CrPC section 174.

Once the post-mortem report is obtained, the cause of death will be identified. A complaint was made by the family, and an investigation has been started.
The student’s cousin, on the other hand, revealed to the media that her cousin was a second-year student. We learned yesterday that he passed away in unknown circumstances. The reason for the death is unknown. Evidently, “kaafi college se tension tha aur kuch usko ragging ki complaint ya wo saari issues face kar raha tha wo.”
“We ask the authorities to look into this matter thoroughly. We have reported this to the police,” he stated.
According to the police, the family received the body following a post-mortem. The student was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to Devender Kumar, SHO of the Rai police station.
There has been an inquiry started. The victim was allegedly being raped, according to a complaint made by the victim’s family. The victim had mild head bruising, according to the medics.
