Brahmastra Second Monday Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ has rocked the box office. On 19 September, director Ayan Mukerji revealed that the film has earned Rs 360 crore worldwide in just 10 days. As per trade reports, Brahmastra is continuing its dream run as it had a strong second Monday at the box office.
The film has earned around Rs 4.25 to 4.75 crores in India on the second Monday. With this the total collection in India has gone up to Rs 212 crores. Accordingly, this weekend Brahmastra is likely to cross the Rs 225 crore mark. The film is maintaining a hold at the box office even in its second week of release. For any film, earning so much on the 11th day of release is a good sign. Looking at this trend of earnings, it is believed that the film will remain at the box office till the third week.
Joined the 200 crore club
After Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’, Brahmastra is the second film to cross the Rs 200 crore mark in India. Globally, the film earned Rs 360 crore in 10 days and the numbers may see a gradual decline over the next ten days. But the film is keeping its hold for the time being.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is a fantasy film that revolves around an ordinary man who has a special bond with fire. The film starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, while Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy appeared in supporting roles. Now news is coming that the makers will shoot Part 2 and Part 3 together. An announcement in this regard will be made soon.
